Who we are
FlatRateChat is a pre-launch project operated by [OPERATOR LEGAL NAME — REVIEW BEFORE LAUNCH] ("we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@flatratechat.com.
What this site is
flatratechat.com is a "launching soon" page. We are testing whether website owners want an AI website chatbot at one flat monthly price. There is no product to use yet, and no payment is collected on this site.
What we collect
When you reserve a launch spot, we collect:
- Your website URL
- Your email address
- The monthly traffic range you select
- Your optional answer to "What are you using today?" (your current tool, and its name if you choose to tell us)
- The landing-page URL you arrived on
- Browser and device information sent by your browser (the "user-agent" string)
- Advertising identifiers included in the link you clicked: Google click identifiers (GCLID, GBRAID, WBRAID) and campaign (UTM) parameters
We do not collect payment details, passwords, or anything you don't type into the form.
Why we collect it
- To contact you when the product launches and send you a confirmation that you are on the early-access list.
- To understand which kinds of websites are interested (for example, traffic range and current tool).
- To measure this demand test. We use Google Ads conversion tracking so we can tell which ads led to a reservation. This stores a small cookie or identifier in your browser and reports the reservation to Google Ads. It does not send Google your email address or website URL.
- To protect the form from automated abuse. We use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person; it may process technical signals from your browser.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of companies to run this site. They process data on our behalf and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes:
- Cloudflare — hosting, form processing, spam protection (Turnstile) and email forwarding for our mailbox
- Supabase — database storage for reservations
- Resend — sending the confirmation email
- Google Ads — advertising and conversion measurement, as described above
What we don't do
- We do not collect payment on this site.
- We do not sell your information.
- We do not send marketing email beyond updates about the FlatRateChat launch.
How long we keep it
This is a pilot. We will delete pilot data within 90 days after the test ends, except for people who go on to become customers, whose information will then be covered by the customer privacy policy published at launch.
Your choices and deletion
You can ask us to delete your reservation and all related data at any time by emailing hello@flatratechat.com from the address you signed up with. We will confirm when it's done. You can also reply "remove" to any email we send you.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
